Pastor Rebekah Layton dives into Revelation 14 and the powerful example of the 144,000—those who remain faithful to Jesus through great tribulation. Their lives remind us that persevering faith is not passive; it’s a daily, active pursuit of Christ.
We examined what it means to truly believe, drawing from the Greek meaning of John 3:16—a continual trust in Jesus. Through Matthew 4:4, we were reminded that God's Word is essential for spiritual survival, just as food is for the body.
The sermon challenged us to keep our eyes on the Lamb, just as the 144,000 do, and to worship with passion, not for show, but out of love for Christ. With Mark 12:30 as our guide, we were called to love God with undivided devotion.
This message is a call to endure—to be people of the Word, focused on Jesus, worshiping with our whole hearts, and living with unwavering commitment in a world filled with trials.
This sermon dives into Revelation 13, where two beasts emerge—one symbolizing global political power led by the AntiChrist, and the other a false prophet who enforces deceptive worship. Together, they paint a sobering picture of spiritual warfare and end-time deception. We explore the meaning of the mark of the beast, a symbol of allegiance to the AntiChrist, and warn against the subtle compromises that can pull believers away from truth. The message is a call to be tribulation ready—grounded in Scripture, filled with the Spirit, and prepared to stand firm in faith. In a world of rising pressure and spiritual confusion, now is the time to live as people of both Word and Spirit, discerning the times and holding fast to Christ.
In this powerful and timely sermon, we dive into the striking imagery and sobering truths of Revelation 13:1-10, exploring the rise of the beast and the deceptive power it wields in the end times. Drawing parallels from Daniel 7, we examine the prophetic symbolism of the beast’s characteristics—speed, strength, and dominance—and how they point to a future global empire empowered by Satan himself. Through this message, we uncover how the dragon (Satan) attempts to counterfeit the glory of Christ, leading the world into worship of a false savior. As deception grows and the groundwork for lawlessness is laid in our world today, believers are called to stand firm in truth, grow in discernment, and persevere in faith. This sermon challenges us to recognize the signs of the times, remain rooted in Scripture, and reignite our love for Christ as we await His return.
In this powerful Mother’s Day message, Wendy Farmer explores “What is a Woman?” from a biblical perspective, drawing from Genesis 1–2 to reveal God’s intentional design for women as strong, equal partners and vital contributors to His kingdom. Highlighting themes of purpose, partnership, truth, and spiritual motherhood, Wendy encourages all women—whether biological or spiritual mothers—to embrace their identity as daughters of God, created to nurture, lead, and reproduce faith with strength and grace.
In this powerful sermon, we journey through Revelation 12 to uncover the cosmic battle between good and evil and what it means for believers today. As Satan wages war through deception, we are reminded that victory belongs to those who overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. Drawing from key Scriptures like Genesis 3, Matthew 4, and John 8, this message equips us to recognize the enemy’s schemes and stand firm in spiritual warfare. Be challenged, encouraged, and prepared to resist the devil and live in the authority of Christ.

The tithe is, by definition, the first tenth. Sometimes people talk of putting anything in the offering as a “tithe.” It’s not a tithe unless it’s the first tenth. Anything less than that is not a tithe. And, biblically, anything beyond that is not a tithe either. It then is a “freewill offering” to use the Old Testament term or “generosity” to use the language of the New Testament.
God’s design is for us to grow and flourish in Him, and Jesus makes a promise to us as His followers: “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” (New American Standard Bible, 1995, John 15:5-8)
All of us want to hear God who speaks by His Word and by His Spirit. Are there things we can do to hear Him more? And are there things we can do that can interfere with our ability to hear?
There is no doubt that we need power – and greater power – to overcome the work and attack of the enemy all around us. The question is, “Is there any way for us to be more effective in the place of prayer? Is there any way for us to pray with greater power?”
What does the Bible say about women and about the role of women? There are competing views and answers to this question, each pointing to their own verses in the Bible to support their position.
