In this message, Pastor Kevin Ross reminds us that God's heart still grieves over sin, injustice, and brokenness. The question is: Does ours?
We’re called to align our hearts with His—grieving over what grieves Him and allowing that grief to move us into prayer, repentance, and action.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” — Psalm 34:18
This post-Fourth of July message from Galatians 4 and 5 reminded us that true freedom is found only in Christ. Through His sacrifice, we are no longer slaves but sons and daughters of God, called to live by the Spirit and free from the bondage of legalism, fear, and striving. We celebrated powerful testimonies of God’s transforming work, including 190 salvations during a mission trip to Ecuador, highlighting that the Gospel is still setting people free today. The message challenged us to stand firm in the freedom Christ has given, reject the trap of legalism, and walk daily by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Freedom in Christ is not just something we receive—it’s a way of life we are called to live and share with others.
At Holy Spirit Night: Healing (Part 2), Pastor Shane led us through an inspiring time of teaching and prayer, focusing on how believers can pray for healing with both faith and authority. Drawing from Scripture, we learned that healing prayer often involves a dual approach: humbly asking God and then commanding healing in Jesus’ name—just as biblical figures like Moses, Elijah, Peter, and Jesus Himself demonstrated. Pastor Shane also emphasized the importance of perseverance in prayer, reminding us that delayed answers don’t mean denial and that we are called to pray persistently and in faith. The evening concluded with practical, hands-on steps for praying for healing, empowering believers to act as vessels of God's healing power while trusting in His will and timing. It was a night marked by faith, expectancy, and the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit.
This message dives into the sobering imagery of the seven bowls of God's wrath as seen in Revelation 15–16. Drawing parallels to the plagues of Egypt, these final judgments signal the de-creation of the world and the end of God's patience with unrepentant humanity. Through vivid signs—sores, blood, heat, darkness, and global upheaval—Scripture reminds us that the world is not our home, and a new creation awaits.
As we continue in our Tribulation Series, we explore Revelation 15—a pivotal chapter that unveils the seven bowls of God's wrath. This moment marks the culmination of divine judgment and the final wave of “de-creation,” as God begins to undo the world as we know it. We examine the prophetic structure of Revelation, the fall of Babylon the Great, and the spiritual call to overcome the Beast, his image, and his name. This sermon challenges believers to prepare for the end times with urgency—by treasuring Scripture, staying rooted in truth, embracing sacrifice, and rekindling a first-love passion for Christ. As we approach the end of days, God is calling His Church to wake up, stay watchful, and walk in revival. The time is now to be ready.

The tithe is, by definition, the first tenth. Sometimes people talk of putting anything in the offering as a “tithe.” It’s not a tithe unless it’s the first tenth. Anything less than that is not a tithe. And, biblically, anything beyond that is not a tithe either. It then is a “freewill offering” to use the Old Testament term or “generosity” to use the language of the New Testament.
God’s design is for us to grow and flourish in Him, and Jesus makes a promise to us as His followers: “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” (New American Standard Bible, 1995, John 15:5-8)
All of us want to hear God who speaks by His Word and by His Spirit. Are there things we can do to hear Him more? And are there things we can do that can interfere with our ability to hear?
There is no doubt that we need power – and greater power – to overcome the work and attack of the enemy all around us. The question is, “Is there any way for us to be more effective in the place of prayer? Is there any way for us to pray with greater power?”
What does the Bible say about women and about the role of women? There are competing views and answers to this question, each pointing to their own verses in the Bible to support their position.
