This Easter weekend we revisit a familiar passage of Scripture, John chapter 11 and the death of Lazarus. But this time, Pastor Shane turns our attention to a less obvious resurrection: Mary's. This verse beautifully portrays the journey of someone who has been prepared and shaped in the wilderness, finding strength and support in their beloved.

As we explore Song of Solomon 8:6-7, we encounter a profound love that yearns for more of God. It's a love that desires to be continually close to Him, to seek His presence with fervor. And in this pursuit, we discover that God directs His gaze upon those who earnestly seek Him.

Our first love for God is one that ignites within us a desire for more of Him. It's a longing to be wherever He is, to dwell in His presence continually. And as we journey with Him, we're reminded that He alone sustains us, empowering us to pursue Him with all that we have.

So let us not grow weary in our pursuit of God. Let us continue to press forward, leaning on our beloved, knowing that He is the source of our strength and the fulfillment of our deepest desires.
